Timmo, As Big Mahn knows their home brew is a brandy like substance called Pisco.

After reading BM I bought some from Uncle Dan for $70, and made Pisco Sour (lemon juice Syrup and egg white - shaken) for my newly wedded daughter and son in law.

They would not drink it even when I doubled up on the egg white and offered to cook it for them.
J and J both love it.

Now what I have learned is that in Peru they have a public holiday - not Labor Day, they don't go in for too much of that stuff, not Queens Birthday or Federation Day or Anzac Day et al - so their hols is for Pisco Day and it is in February (probably does not matter which day)

We should all meet in Lima on said appointed day, watch a bull fight, and ride alpacas up to The Shiny Mountain to help with the digging. BM to be our guide and alpaca procurer.

Zerbo, if he is willing and can get leave will be our Pisco taster.
