    re: the libs have done a good job I've been thinking about a point that K O'Brien made to Rudd tonight (when he could get a word in).

    He pointed out that Howard was the one implementing for the future, taking the bold moves - the GST, IR reforma and opening up the debate on nuclear energy.

    When you think about it all of these items open him up to criticism because they are not popularist. Howard tackles the hard issues. Rudd imho is just an opportunist who is saying "you're not cutting it, give me a go" but hiding behind some vague promise of a new style. His three main objections to Howard are IR laws (wants a fair go, whatever that means), global warming (Howards' fault) and the Iraq war (wants out - as we all do ideally)
