The company is not required to formally report quarterly. As with all listed company's they are required to report any material performance news. Material is loosely defined though and it could be argued in the abscence of guidance there is nothing material to measure against - e.g due to xxx we revise gidance up or down, no guidance = nothing to declare. I think an exception there is NIHL because the statement 40 to 50% expect to settle remains an open statement not explicitly changed from last March.
Many may be aware but if not: investor relations suggests a whole department. It isn't a dedicated department, permanent member is just one person Melinda. Melinda manages enquiries by calling on the right person within the organisation to seek an answer - much like a project manager role. Therefore strictly speaking Investor Relations consists of one person. That is my understanding.
