The company with a 20year mine life and 300mill profit PA will end up buying the company with the 100year LoM resource...such is the power of cashflow over a secure resource...hence the managing director who has said, "there is no need to continue proving up a resource any larger than 10 years of production capacity..."
Barney laughs at posters on another thread (but refrains from posting) who congratulate themselves on a potential 250-300 million tonne resource...problem they now have is drilling up the locations to find the more cost efficient deposit depleting their cash reserves finding the sweet spot... Analogy time... Like going into a shop and having to many choice's, one spends to long comparing products, hoping to purchase the best out of the lot, when any of the products would often do or satisfy if there was no comparison in the first place...!?
