re: tax and other evils Does anybody know the tax status of investments in OS exchanges. I am thinking particularly of toronto as it is open when I'm not at work so I can set my comp to alert me when certain criteria are met.
Do we pay tax twice?
Unlike with the ASX i believe the ATO does not have automatic access to transactions - not that I would consider not declaring income ;)
