Has it escaped your attention that there is currently a housing slump and bank profits, which have been very good for the past few years, may diminish markedly?
Perhaps you are happy to wait for 3 - 5 years, accumulate cheaply and bear with a cheerful grin the decreased divvies on which you may depend.
