I hear (from a plastic surgeon) that they are improving the membrane (third revision - seem to recall reading that somewhere too). Will do more or another trail for the new membrane that apparently will solve unpredictable leakage of CO2 on some patient implants.
I don't think however it's expected to hamper FDA approval.
Also they give the implants to only those with sufficient cognitive skills to handle the daily self inflation routine.
