re: status Most cement jobs are reported to have gone well. But in most cases this is far from the truth, they usally have problems bumping the plugs. They don't pump enough cement, they pump too much.
They never are perfect, but don't stop the onward march. This one however has been a little bit more significant and will efect the cost of the well.
2 weeks min, don't know how much USA land rigs are a day but lets say cost overall per day is A$200K to GDN that well over $2m.
Costly error, but wont effect if their is oil down there. If this isn't successfull then sidetrack is going to be even more costly, and that is a posibility?
