That's just a by product of the public's attention span. My point was not on how it is communicated but what is underneath. I don't believe the small parties have the ability to develop complex policy, That's the domain of the major parties. As such I believe their focus is purely on creating noise as a way of differentiating themselves, leaving a large gap should they ever win a majority.
