re: has anyone called the directors bello I was concerned because of some of the pesimistic things being written here (probably with the intended purpose of making people feel nervous), and I wanted to hear what John had to say .
Firstly I will say he seemed a little exasperated that people think the situation is worse than what he has declared .
He reiterated that the recovery method has almost no risk of failure, and when I asked about any likelihood that a sidetrack would be needed he said outright "no" . He did explain what had happened patiently, but to repeat it would no doubt have me confuse the intricacies of detail and therefore not properly represent what I was told . I am sure if people wanted to put down questions in an email, he would get back to you .

Remember, a director bought shares last week in the 80 cent range, so I don't think any of the management expected this delay, and I'm sure that they are not procrastinating the recovery efforts .
People generally love resolution by Christmas, but the ASX only stops for public holidays and weekends as you know .
