    I would add, that there seems to be an 'anti TA' element in the big players on the US indices.

    Since many punters now use TA to trade, big players are deliberatley breaching trendlines to induce a false bear rally.When an index or major stock is in medium term uptrend, all they have to do is sell off a little stock at the close, and sit back for a day or 2 and watch all the TA traders rush in as bears.Then the big boys come in and buy up again. The reverse is also true, and some anti TA players are even formimg chart patterns like bowls and pennants, in an attempt to draw a particular reaction from the market TA players.

    If you dont think this is happeneing, just search on a few posts here at HC, and see how many TA guys complain about getting it wrong when all the signals looked right, and then just as soon as they change sides, they are wrong again.
