There are a few deals or projects with smaller companies that may or may not still be in the works. They are;
1. UniSA collaboration (developing energy monitoring systems)
2. Tytronics (thermostats for heating and cooling)
3. Wire By Click (cabling system for homes and office blocks)
4. Leapin Digital Keys (keyless entry / smartlocks)
I haven't mentioned or included these projects on the new wheel as I don't believe they are a big focus for the company right now (with perhaps the exception being the UNiSA collaboration as it is a multi-year study and development project that could bring substantial tech/IP reward for Xped down the track).
If the other three projects mentioned bring near term revenue then it's a small bonus but I don't consider these deals to be of great importance in the grand scheme of things. Ever heard of the 80/20 rule?
It is worth remembering that since March 3 a lot has happened with little Xped, including re-listing and 100% conversion of its options, both providing the company with a substantial amount of working capital to provide flexibility and re-investment (if need be) back into the business.
But even more significant is the stream of positive developments that have been announced to the market since, further solidifying the business case for Xped's technology to be accepted and adopted en masse across various global 'settings' and industries.
Thus I suspect that management's focus has been to concentrate on the deals and projects that provide scale and/or infrastructure and provide the greatest reward to the existing business, not only in terms of future revenue but setting the company up for long term success.
Therefore I would no longer include Leapin (for example) as part of that equation. Just look at the numbers. Let's assume they sell 20,000 locks (with our technology included) at $5 a pop = $100,000 revenue. Now compare that to a potential $3 million + revenue for JCT this financial year.
Step it up a notch and the potential revenue generated from our Semiconductor related activities, Xerts and other 'known' and 'unknown' opportunities in the future and it becomes even clearer that Leapin (and similar licensing deals with tiny players) are a small drop in an extremely large ocean.
