I am not sure if I can tie lithium demand to that of tulips in 1637.
One significant difference is the addiction and undeniable need for human beings to traverse long distances via land but most importantly reduce the amount of pollution in the air.
Hybrid planes are being worked on now that will require energy storage and will also make a significant impact towards pollution reduction.
