Hicks did something stupid not illegal. No violation of Australian law and the yanks have spent 5 years coming up with some meaningless charges while using torture and solitary confinement that you couldnt use on a serial killer.
Its no credit to Australia that Howard wont stick up for an Australian citizen. Even Blair the supposed poodle got the poms out of that s*hole.
