makes you wonder what would happen if the same facts existed but

it was an aboriginal who laid into a police officer

or a bouncer who laid into a out of control hotel patron

or just 2 individuals in a brawl

it would appear that there is enough evidence that the cop laid into this guy something he had no lawful right to do and therefore it should be up to a court to decide if it was the cops actions or something else that lead to this guys death.

I believe though that Yak was supporting the DPPs decision

No surprise there that a guy who does not believe in the right to a fair open and timely trial also sees nothing wrong with a cop laying into prisoners even if that prisoner ends up dead.
