A nice sentiment but the reality is that crime has, and is still increasing and the politicians and bureaucrats are not affecting any change. The police are restricted in their actions for political and PC reasons. Also Australia is still importing more criminals for political reasons also
So what is left ---- if the authorities can not, do not want to keep us safe who will do it other than ourselves, and if that means a shotgun or whatever then that will be way to go and fight with the police afterwards, at least you will still be alive to fight them
