A change in legislation to allow an independent appeal panel would be a start for the community that lacks funding to take on the police bullies themselves in the court.
A hint of reform. The NSW Parliament passed legislation abolishing the rule against double jeopardy in certain cases and the federal government is pushing for similar 'reform' throughout Australia.
