Yes a dam as most people would call it. Although it doesn't dam anything, its just a reservoir at a key point in an elevated gully. 25 metres head. It has a (very) small spring feeding it so it compensates for evaporation. About 600,000 litres usable in summer.
We also have another 40,000 litres of household water which would be last defence fire front type stuff. 28 metres head
Your pumping stations....... are they all petrol powered?
