Nearmap in Australia, page-14

I work for an engineering firm and have work at a few others. They all use nearmap as do many other engineering firms. The beauty about nearmap in our industry is we can use hypertiles and save a map of any size from nearmap and import that into our Cadd software to scale and geo-referenced. You can't do that with any thing else and it is gold in the engineering industry. Before nearmap came along we used google maps.... there is no comparison in our industry, nearmap is above and beyond and I can guarantee you, if someone else comes along with a similar product there is no chance of switching from nearmap because you have 100s of cad technicians, cad drafters, cad engineers etc who all use nearmap and do not want to change. Once engineers are familiar with something and we like it, we stick with it. The company I work for is multi disiplined and yse nearmap for our traffic, civil, water and survey departments.
Nearmap is more than a solar mapping tool. It is huge in the Australian engineering industry. Hypertiles is unquestionably a massive help to Cadd users in engineering .
