Palm Island may very well be a violent lawless place where policing would be an extremely difficult job.
This though in no way justifies police acting outside the law, beating prisoners to that point that it results in their death, assuming that happened
As for Palm Island being the most violent place on Earth or as some one else described it as more violent than Iraq, I think that might be getting just a little carried away
