The US GAVE Israel nuclear capability.....and it paid no regard to the UN over the matter.....it also continues to subsidise the Israeli Defence Budget (some 20% of it's spending)
So the US and Israel have no right to criticise Russia or any other nation on this issue.
The US and Israel set the precedent.
These two nations do not want to see Iran develop nuclear weapons not because they fear attack, but because they seek to control the Middle East and dictate to other sovereign nations there......control that they can't achieve if any country in the region has nuclear capability.
