re: grandads trading advice yeah, when uncertainty is high spreads widen, but on almost any other market a five point spread is exceptional, on night spi it's often the minimum. Did you know that night spi trading is dominated by one computer, belonging to one brokerage house? The excuse is that its unattended and sometimes goes haywire... sure sure.. it always goes haywire in the long direction..
