    So the question arises, what is it that no man can approach, or hath seen etc. Is that referring to the actual Light (God's light) and not the one who it's talking about?

    Wotsup, we have an example with what happened to Saul(Paul) on the road to Damascus.

    (Acts 26:13) I saw at midday on the road, O King, a light beyond the brilliance of the sun flash from heaven around me and around those traveling with me.

    So brilliant was the light Jesus likely chose midday to shield Paul's eyes from further damage. As it was Paul was still blinded. And it was not Jesus he saw, it was only a vision.

    (Acts 26:19) “Therefore, King A·gripʹpa, I did not become disobedient to the heavenly vision,

    If "no man can approach" Jesus now that he is a glorious spirit person, how much more so can no man can see God and live. - Exodus 33:20 No wonder Jehovah needed to send angels to represent him when dealing with Moses and Abraham.
