I think this is reasonably well handled, as cold as it sounds, the reality is life does go on after tragedies (e.g. we don't close roads forever after a fatal car crash) but donating the proceeds from first day back and the memorial aspect will avoid management looking too insensitive (some people will never be happy but you can't focus on them).

Two remaining questions (from a shareholder perspective):
    - How much does attendance fall this year and how long till back to "normal" attendance, my guess would maybe be a 30% reduction in visitors this year, 10% less than normal next year and then pretty much back to normal.
    - How much payout is required to families or authorities and how much is covered by insurance? I have no idea how to predict this but obviously it's not a recurring cost.

Some people are criticizing re-opening but what are they supposed to do? Close forever? The park is important to more than just shareholders, think about the employees, the entire Gold Coast tourism industry. Sure a lot of damage has been done already but closing forever would only compound it.
