Dbt9, that is a sweeping statement does not apply to "all believers".
There may be exceptions, but I've never found one.
Just take this site as a sample, all the believers on this forum have their own interpretation of scripture. Sure, they agree on some things, but that doesn't contradict what I said.

We don't actually know anything about Jesus, or even that he existed. We only have what is said in the Gospels and Paul's letters. The former appear to be embellished in an attempt to fulfill OT prophesy (which fails) and the latter, Paul's letters hardly mention Jesus the man or his ministry.
