    Hi webbj,

Just on your point of a “$30-$40 all you can eat phone plan” – if you can show us a phone plan that gives you one of the latest iPhones (6 / 6s or 7) or Samsung Galaxy s6/s7 phones for $30 a month on a 12 or 24 month contract, I am all ears!

The reality is big enterprises don’t issue cheap low-end phones of the kind you would get for $30-$40 a month to their employee. They are spending far more on that – Norwood knows this because the companies they have been speaking to are telling them how much they are spending.

There is also more than just the telco costs, there are IT department support costs, administration hassle on keeping track of handsets etc if it is not on BYOD. Gartner says for corporates with large mobile fleets, the company spends a dollar on Admin & Lifecycle management for every Telco dollar. In a BYOD environment, much of the admin & Telco charges is eliminated, hence the huge savings.

The savings comments Norwood has made are based around real phone bills / costs given to them by dozens of enterprises.

Probably don’t want to get into a huge line by line argument here, and everyone will of course have their own opinion, but Norwood would very much disagree with your statements – firstly, with your opinion that “Companies simply don’t care” on domestic mobile usage, and secondly, that there are not substantial savings to be generated. Companies _do_ care and as discussed in the releases, Norwood has a had a large number of meetings with senior executives at a range of companies based entirely upon their level of concern and care on domestic mobile use / BYOD. As noted and referenced in the Strategy Presentation, the BYOD market is very large globally (Many sources of independent confirmation of this can be found online). There are good reasons for that, as elaborated above.

Ultimately of course proof will be in sales, and Norwood is working very hard on that front, and highly satisfied with the interest shown in their solution to date.
