There definitely will be a TH to counter these releases from COP and WPL. What exactly will be the news, we'll have to wait to find out.

There is no mention anywhere of approval granted by the gov't. I think it could be a case of COP and WPL assuming to be judge, jury and executioner so as to put pressure on FAR yet again to see what FAR's intentions are, hence Tim's comment of "passive aggressive by big oil companies". I do not take that comment lightly from our 11% holder. Would you not deal into this matter seriously (with FAR) if you have 40 mil at stake, and a lawyer? I know he is not an "oil" lawyer, but he would know a lot more about those things than all of us put together I suspect; and mates who would as well. Good on you for posting.

I suspect that we are going to learn that PE has not started and so the 60 days cycle being up was only assumption by COP and WPL. FAR is being very relaxed about the whole thing and you don't go in half prepared if you are only a tiny company playing with the oil majors.
Consider this comment from CN "I am aware of the WPL announcement. We will make n announcement in due course.

A deal with WPL in any shape or form would be unlikely, else FAR would have come out with an announcement re the deal as well.
The wordings of the announcements did not mention any amendments that I can see and seem to reflect the original deal, so that is further emphasising this point.

I hope it's all going FAR's way as this is an opportunity to enhance our value and burn the shorters; and oh show those big boys a thing or two.
