Ann: Update on proposed ConocoPhillips Senegal asset sale,WPL-FAR.AX, page-79

Have you guys ever noticed that NOT ONCE has FAR ever indicated they want to exercise their PE?!?

Lots of hints and tweets on this forum through proxies, but not one press release to suggest they are going to PE.

Only thing I have read repeatedly in official press releases is that "FAR believes a valid pre-emptive rights notice has not been issued to the JV partners by COP"

But we now know the Final price ($350M plus adjustments) is the same as the Original price ($350M plus adjustments) for COP Senegal BV (the company).

So there was no side-deal, which would support the original contention by COP that they had supplied all relevant documentation to FAR to PE (maybe not in the right order).

This leads me to believe (unpalatable conclusion) that FAR is playing with a bluff hand.

All IMHO of course.
