sorry I am being a bit thin skinned. I have supported EXT for a long time... I still think the MC is way undervalued. But for me, it was time to bail, until after the changes have been made. And I am happy I did, which is the main thing. Just because I am trading it for now.. doesnt mean I am not a supportor of EXT. Might sound contradictory to some... but not for me.

As far as tax... really if anyone that is serious about the stock market (and I include all of you) and is paying Capital Gains, then they need a better accountant. Its very easy to get an ABN, become a sole trader (paying income tax), or operate as a business and draw an income. Or for those 'old' enough, self funded super. No need to be paying captal gains.
