    Sorry if this is wrong thread...I have been trying to get a better understanding of short selling.... what benefits are there to the owner of the shares who allows them to be shorted? I get that they charge a fee but it seems counter to the purpose of owning the shares...I'm gonna hold till the next qtrly I still believe....
