Drilling Status Report – 5 December 2006
• Paradox Basin #1 well is at 15,397 feet (4,692 m) at the base of the Pinkerton Trail Formation
• Casing has been successfully set and cemented from 9,743’ to 15,397’
• Rig is recovering pipe attached to the casing hanger prior to drilling into the Leadville Limestone objective

The rig is currently recovering 1,000’ of drill pipe left attached to the casing hanger. This is proceeding normally at a rate of approximately 400’ per day.
