I don't like the 'he' needing to be stated for an omnipotent and omniscient God either. However the English language provides little else and I would suggest that you well know that.
Also Jesus was a male and this is another reason for the reference to 'he'.
I wouldn't laugh too hard... I do respect and acknowledge your views, but we may well be right... never discount that possibility...
