our reality of the world is influenced by our 5 faculties: eye (sight), ear (hearing), nose (smell), touch, taste.
However, it does not mean that "something" does not exist just because none of that 5 faculties tells us there is something there. A very good example is: a dog can hear a very high pitch noise that our human ears do not hear. The nosie is there, but our ears don't hear it.
