I accidently posted the Nate Silver analysis on the wrong thread, but what's happening atm is extremely important to investors imo.
The markets have, as they do, gripped onto one poll showing Trump ahead and generally the race tightening. There's some very important issues regarding that:
* >20m people have already voted and they always favour the Dems
* there was a feeling of complacency that Hills was a shoo in, note how many Wall St big wigs have come out with a doom and gloom scenario if Trump wins, designed to scare the begeesus out of the laggards and stimulate Dem supporters to actually vote. Don't under estimate the deep strategy of the Dems and their connection to Wall St.

So we are seeing a risk on movement and flight to Gold that's over cooked, AJX bouncing around 5% is actually quite good considering the low liquidity of the stock, but it's only a speed bump. What will be interesting is the "snap back" when more realistic data emerges closer to the election date and this scare message bites, possibly by Saturday our time (Friday in US).

Meanwhile it opens the window for some very good buying opps across the board. There will be quite a few shorters caught out and scrambling to reposition when it snaps.
