this is from june quarterly
The jaw crusher and vibrating screen were installed, tested and commissioned with ore processing throughput rising over the Quarter from 5.9 tonnes per day in May to 13 tonnes per day in June.
"In order to be in a position to operate profitably at significantly lower ore grade levels (circa 2g/t), orders are currently being placed with a Chinese supplier for a larger ball mill (5t/h capacity), a roller crusher, two vibrating feeders (10t/h) and 2 two small conveyor belts. This will increase the daily processing capacity to 50 to 60 tonnes in a single shift, and will cost approximately AUD$40,000."
from the investor presentation
Procured key infrastructure to increase production rate:
- Small jaw crusher, and commissioning of 2 t/h ball mill and vibrating screen;
- Gekko in-line spinner processing concentrator plant;
- Orders currently being placed for larger 5t/h ball mill, roller crusher, vibrating feeders and conveyer belts to increase mining rates and processing throughput.
from this quarterly report
Production in the second half of the quarter was negatively impacted by wet weather and equipment problems. Niuminco is now funded to order critical new infrastructure to significantly increase throughput and consistency of operations
so it seems they have been trying to get this new equipment for about 3 months now, and have the funds to now do so.
