    Just did some more quick reading, I think this is all about Apple HomeKit and the way things are going it's going to be OCF/Xped vs. Apple HomeKit.

    Apple HomeKit is pretty awesome from a user perspective:

    Someone here care to compare the two? We all know Xped is going to kill it in the (larger) commercial and industrial sectors of the IoT industry, and we know that Apple is less popular than Android, but taking a superficial look at things it seems HomeKit really is the #1 threat atm in the Home IoT sector. Am I right?

    If Apple was to enable NFC for HomeKit in the future, wouldn't it also have to enable NFC for other IoT developers? -Anyone know a little something about trade practices law?

    Anyway given all of the above it's no surprise that IOS approval of Xped app took so long. -Our Directors would have needed to be VERY circumspect. So yeah, no surprise that app functionality is limited right now.

    All personal opinion and readers should do their own research.
