Sorry Jas - your sentiment (& many others on this thread) is totally mis-aligned to the what is of key importance - i.e. market sentiment, which misguides you all in thinking why is WGL is down 30% in recent sessions and sitting back and scratching your head why.

At the end of the day, market sentiment is the ONLY criticality that is important to make money on the share-market.

You may believe in a stock, believe in it's management, it's unique value proposition, and, and, and ...however, for any stock to trade beyond the "hype factor", the company requires some substance in what they are doing - namely business fundamentals. WGL does not have this (yet) and may not even obtain it ...so in a stock like this you need to be extremely cautious in how you play it.


They may have some good ideas, even some good tech. But unless they can confidently show a plausible path to revenue and thus, profitability ...the informed market will mostly disagree and wild swings in SP from announcement to announcement will likely occur burning many shareholders along the way.

This is not a down-ramp by any means - but rather, perhaps look at it as a lesson learned on how to view a stock before taking a position in it regardless of personal views and ones own investment strategy.

At the end of the day, we are always learning, and I too 20 years ago, had also learnt the hard way in how I viewed a company. Sometime the best way to learn is to by losing a lot of money as I once did all those years ago and to seek out why so as to not fall into the same trap again.
