I believe you will find it is simply automatic trading and an accepted practice in the markets.
It isn't personal. It isn't even a person. It is a program trying to milk energy from small movements and when several start competing with each other (or even against themselves) you cannot predict what exact trades they will generate and they can trade be silly amounts.
In the same way people try and read patterns in share price movements and buy and sell based on their reading to try and make money out of the fluctuations, you can write software to look at patterns and work out statistical strategies to buy and sell and make profit.
Long term... it is just noise. Ignore it. The price will long term reflect the value of the company.
Short term it is like the chop of waves on the shore. The tides flow in and out every 6 hours, waves and chop appear to be random chaos from moment to moment.
If you want the SP to be an accurate reflection of the company's value at every moment in time you are going to be a very unhappy person.
