i havent read the whole thred....yet my comments are.....................1 government useto accept smoking,and never said boo ...they made loads of money from the tax.....less then ten years ago the government got complaints from the medical sector admin stating its costing too much, for hospital,re medical..with..waiting lists growing reguarding the aging population etc...2...in general cost for the government to mantain medical has been estamated to outstrip costs from the revenue from smokes thats why they started these campaingns against smoking.....i heard the news and the docters have a point yet they should not decline any person from a hospital bed.....i think they should have a cut off date off 40 years from today and state any person who wills to pollute their sysem by smoking after the date will be given last prefrence ......it boils down to overpoulation
