I spent some time reading the latest on WPL this weekend.
I just realised you were right that Barrington's last hurrah will be this year's AGM, before Chaney takes over.
We are in good hands here.
I also found out that Michael Chaney spent the first 8 years of his professional career as a Petroleum Geologist !
Anyway, production numbers for 2006 are up, and realised oil prices appear to be in the $65-70 region as compared to $55 in 2005.
Going forward, oil is now at 2005 levels and it represents 24% of production, therefore it is likely to contribute less in 2007 (but there is extra production in the Gulf of Mexico and Mauritania).
LNG is very 95% contracted as far as price is concerned, and production will be higher. The major step change in LNG will come in 2008-2009
