I small bit of anecdotal evidence which might explain why she lost.
Last night a friend of mine made a negative post about Hilary Clinton on his Facebook time line (btw this guy was Irish not American). Well a female friend of his replied saying that if he was a Trump supporter then she would have to end their friendship. The guy defended his remarks and they exchanged some more posts.
But it made me think, wow if this is how some people react to you being a Trump supporter then I'm sure a lot if Trump supporters have been keeping quiet about the fact and probably pretending to support Clinton or be undecided if pushed by friends or perhaps pollsters.
It is rather sad and a reflection of how the leftish self-titled "progressive" liberals are bullying & attacking people who don't fall in line with their PC dogma.
So seems these silent/hidden Trump supporters were not showing up in the polls accurately but had their say on the day that counts.
