Hard to say NZ but to be honest my reasons for an investment in bauxite was because of the potential with aluminium usage growing in the years ahead and I didn't give any consideration to the cement market. It's a bonus that ABX have diversified thankfully and if they can secure a long term contract with one of these potential customers then we'll be very well placed once the aluminium industry sorts itself out. I can't see a better placed junior bauxite miner on the asx than this one. I just think that the market is nervous about mining stocks ( understandably so in many cases) and needs to see something a little more solid. Long term contract sales will see this heading north but I'm in on this one now while the SP is low. Long term contracts first and then a dividend would be fantastic. Patience to reward us. How long we have to wait for I really don't know but I like what management have done and think we're in good hands.
