    If the results were scaled to our Aus lower house, The result would have been 86-66. landslide ?Debatable. Also, being the zero sum game that it is, for every seat/vote that one party gains represents a loss to the other party. Thus a net margin of two is created for every additional seat loss/gain.
    Also consider the swing of 2 percentage points against Clinton, nationally, if reversed would have resulted in 307-231 in Clintons favour. So it only took 1 person in 100 to change their mind and here we are today with the result we see.
    Interestingly, if you look at North Carolina, an important battleground state, where thousands of black voters were meticulously struck off the electoral roll before the election, then turnout may be part of another underlying systemic problem...
