It seems that what has transpired so far has been within the realms of the law, if there was anything illegal going on I wouldn't be supporting them. I like seeing entrepreneurs do well.
The goal is to prove up a resource.
We'll know if they're on the right track soon. The next 1 - 2 months is make or break for the board IMO.
Until then, why don't you cut the board some slack?
