Won't be surprised. CFD price factors spread on the mid value. Plus, OTC can set any price they want and do not have disclosure obligations. Hence, unlike oz, in UK spread bet is considered gambling and earnings are tax free.
Who do you use to trade SPI ? Do you have bunch of providers that I can check. I find trading CFDs more expensive when trading size and am looking at trading SPI directly. Plus the absence of DOM makes it difficult to gauge liquidity.
