@PB, software I use (PRT) does not do "semi-log" only log (to the best of my knowledge). Antone know software with semi log?

A few thoughts on the "magic" of 50%.
Fibs, forks, measured moves etc all have a reliance on 50% as being significant. FWIW I have always believed its just a measure of human decision making in some way .... after all that is what TA is based upon IMO ..... charting human responses to a myriad of complex inputs.

Sooo if there is a "significant move" say UP then what is a more logical spot for a pull back than the average of the high and low?

Peops who have ridden the rise are trying to sell and maintain a portion of their profit and ditto people who bought at highs are "cutting losses"; and there are some trying to buy the cheaper price... eventually equilibrium restores ... whats more logical than at the average or mean? This the median tyne on a fork or the 50% fib or a flag in a measured move etc etc

Its what originally attracted me to Andrews work and the simplicity of forks ... price reverting to the median line. Just my 2 bobs worth.
