Simple, make it FUN for kids to go shopping at Woolworths just like some American Fast Food chains do to attract the adults. Little give aways at the checkout or other items that kids love (not necessary for sale) i.e Halloween displays or Australian Zoo exhibits etc .
Children have a knack for dragging the paying Adults into places like Woolies, Maccas or anywhere that sells those one dollar slushies, I remember when a Commonwealth Bank tin money bank was a must have and am sure that Dinosaur or Aust Animal sticker collections would be equally popular these days.
Just a suggestion from a Parent that shops...
