We wouldn't need GST if the Gumnut was efficient...it's only because buearocracy has become top heavy and bloated, they are looking for ways to tax the working class...once apon a time the only tax was a land tax..then the great war broke out and our ancestors started to pay warchest levies... Now as new generations come on board we the public are told it's just the way it has always been...but of course new services have been provided, but so has technology made the job easier, so there should be less duplication...but public service jobs are vital to ensure money is distributed throughout the economy, not to make government more efficient..
