Lat, I did agree with you until this morning - the apparent lack of acumen & strategic thinking with the latest CR at .011 bothered me because as many have said if you need more money later why not wait and do a CR at a better price after the permit is approved or even better after (hopefully) some good drill results? If it were just about raising $ it seems dumb. But have a look at Billy Goats new thread he opened this morning - it appears one of the new shareholders is an ex Chinalco Director and was CEO of Chinalco-Peru. He also has experience in getting proven sites up and running as full blown producing operations. I have been worried about ICG's lack of experience in making the difficult transition from explorer to producer but to my mind this CR appears now to be more about strategically planning ahead to getting the right people on board so the company can successfully transform from explorer to miner. To get the right people you have to make it attractive to them i.e. let them in while the market price is still only .011 instead of .05 or .10 so they work hard to get a Disallowed instead of 4 or 5.If I am right the fact that the ICG board was prepared to let these new guys in now says to me that ICG is confident it is going to need people like this and that it is determined to go all the way into becoming a major ore producer. Anyway that's my thinking for now - but everyone feel free to pick holes in my theory.
