First up, I'd dare say that a high, no an extremely high proportion of ordinary Aussies would agree with me (and the rest of same-minded posters). Bet it'd be in the 90%+

Secondly - "lighten up" - frankly there's far far too much of this going on. Many, many kids today lack purpose, direction and fail to see the importance of many things. All part of the culture I guess. The X-Box generation!
In the end...it probably wont matter. Never really does in peace-time.
But history shows that peace is but a temporary hiatus between wars.
Then it will matter
And it may be much too hard to "turn on" this sort of stuff on demand. Needs be inherently there!
